Inspired by Hamilton: An American Musical, this poster tracks the course of Alexander Hamilton's life, one of the founding fathers of the USA. It shows the people he made connections with, how he was connected to them, whether they outlived him, or died before him, and the key historical events that happened both during his life and after his death.
In tracking his life, we also show early American history by including key dates like the bill of rights, who became president, and even when the Brooklyn Bridge was built.
We’ve used a bar chart style design, with a blue and red colour palette.
This poster is popular with:
- History buffs
- Musical fans
- Lin Manuel-Miranda fans
- Teachers and educators, as a learning tool
